About Baltimore Cruise Terminal

Baltimore’s cruise terminal is located at South Locust Point. It is just minutes from the famous Inner Harbor and just off of I-95, and only a ten minute ride from BWI Airport. Both Annapolis and Washington can be reached by car from the Baltimore cruise port in under an hour.

The Baltimore cruise terminal is a converted 65,000-square-foot warehouse. The new facility, construction of a paved parking lot and dredging to accommodate the large cruise ships cost $13 million. The Port of Baltimore celebrated its 300th anniversary in 2006. In 1706, Maryland's legislators designated Whetstone Point as an official Port of Entry. Five small ports eventually merged to become the Port of Baltimore. The port has grown to 45 miles of shoreline and more than 3,400 waterfront acres.

Cruise passengers have easy access to the Port of Baltimore South Locust Point Marine Terminal by private car or taxi. Baltimore cruise parking is easy. No advance reservations are required to park in the lot located on the South Locust Point Marine Terminal. Ample long-term parking is located within walking distance of the Passenger Building and courtesy/handicap shuttles are available. Parking fees are payable upon arrival by cash or traveler's checks only.
