About Norfolk Cruise Terminal
The new terminal is called the Half Moone Cruise and Celebration Center; named for a fort that once stood at the site. The 80,000-square-foot terminal has 33,000 square feet of space for events and a 54-foot mermaid image cast in the floor tile of its entrance. Cruise ships in Norfolk dock next to Nauticus, the national maritime museum. It is well worth your time to tour Nauticus and the Battleship Wisconsin before or after your cruise.
Guests arriving by bus from the parking area will be dropped off by complimentary shuttle in front of Half Moone (One Waterside Drive). Those guests being dropped off by a friend/relative should also plan on coming directly to Half Moone. The porter team will assist with baggage. Guests will then proceed to our check-in area. Please remember to have a photo ID and boarding documentation in-hand. Before boarding, passengers will be required to go through security x-rays.
The parking facility is located on Monticello Avenue in downtown Norfolk. The parking rate for all sailings is $10 per night. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, cash and Travelers Checks are accepted upon entry into the facility. Cedar Grove Parking serves Carnival's Victory and Royal Caribbean’s Grandeur of the Seas. From Interstate-264, take the City Hall Exit (Exit #10). At the light, turn right onto St. Paul's Boulevard and follow our "Cruise Parking" signs.
